Misc.

I was supposed to spend the entire day transcribing interviews for my supervisor. What I did instead was take breaks from it. Like, all day long. I tried to read a Lawrence Lessig article on the first anniversary of the Free Culture Movement in the July issue of Wired but I couldn't even finish it because he annoys the bejeezus out me. I will finish it before I go to bed though. Flipping through a copy of my sister's The Future of Music made me jealous of the professional life she's chosen for herself. Last week she was invited backstage at a Thievery Corporation concert because one of the band-members noticed her rocking her socks off at a club in Berlin. I also noticed that 'rocking' is not the most appropriate verb to describe her dance-style in this particular situation.

I am also grateful for having an audience of observant individuals who choose to come by even when I have nothing meaningful to say. Miss K managed to poke my political rib and got me thinking about the relevance of Live8 and I will produce a semi-coherent (hopefully) text about it some time soon.

As far as sonyphone's question about The Edge is concerned, all I have to say is that he makes me tingle inside in mysterious ways. All puns intended.
