Totally partied out
Just got home from my first corporate party EVER. I was there with my boss.
Here are some (drunkish) thoughts as I get ready to put myself to bed:
1. My boss: she's better than yours.
2. Cover bands are better than bad DJs.
3. When you don't have anything good to say about a person, just say they are nice. If you're being sarcastic, the right people will catch your drift.
4. We both worry that tomorrow we will be known as the Netage girls who drank wine and ate all the meatballs.
Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get my beauty sleep.
Prof. Grady arrives tomorrow.

Yes, it is the season of all sorts of “corporate” and “office” parties, leaving plenty of food for gossip throughout the next year... :-)

Oh no! I don't like gossip! Nothing good ever comes out of it :(
I share the same opinion about gossips.
They are part of what parties and shopping are called in modern Bulgarian consumer behaviour “Коледно-Новогодишна вакханалия”. In clubs, restaurants, streets, roads, hotels ... everywhere at this time of the year... :-)
