Funny sleepers
You know how in each family, people inevitably get assigned roles. Like, mom is the strict one. And dad is the funny one. And Uncle Joe is the super-boring one who THINKS he is the funny one.
Well, in our family, my sister Ena is considered to be the one who sleeps funny. Here is a picture of her that I took this morning:
She always sleeps on her tummy with two pillows in her bed. She hugs the first one and puts the second one on her head. Also, she pulls her blanket all the way up, which has driven many of us to almost-heart-attacks as we thought she had disappeared. No, no. She WAS there. She had simply burried herself in a pile of bed-stuff. The reason why she is not doing the blanket-all-the-way-up thing in this particular picture, is because she was spending the night with her sister (me), who's also known as the one who's always cold.
What is your role assignment in YOUR family?

she's almost impossible to share a bed with. in addition to being funny, she is also a VERY PUSHY sleeper!

i'm the "smart" one in my family--which really is not meant to reference my intelligence, but only my many, many years in school.
i'm also the "rebellious" one--which really means the gay one.
and i'm the 'funny & always smiling one'. and the one that speaks way too fast.:}

that's interesting, isn't it...if you are the smart one, this means that your sister is not as smart (at least, according to your parents). if you're the rebellious one, doesn't that mean that your sister is the complacent one? parents can be super-mean without even knowing it ;))))

I am "вятър на бял кон ме вее" (Petya, you can try to translate that!:)) or another cover of the same tune which is: the reticent and reserved guy, sometimes even scary... not that I want this.
hahaah. good! i used to get the "вятър я вее на бял кон" a lot as well, especially when i was a graduate student. i think that people used to notice my abscentmindedness a lot more when i was "an academic". ah, stereotypes ;)
