Good things recently
Because I am super stressed out at work today and need to remind myself that it's all ok:
1. Going home to be met at the door by my husband. With a kiss. Cheesy, I know. But oh-so-amazingly wonderful!
2. Our new apartment on Oborishte. The kind of location that really makes you understand why people love this little city of ours.
3. Charlotte Gainsbourg's 5:55: dreamy and bittersweet and out of this world. My latest celebrity crush.
4. Social Jazz Club: the new club near the bookmarket. Totally overpriced but completely worth it.
5. Loving everyone at work: I've gotten completely used to the fact that I have pretty awesome co-workers. They are smart, and caring, and fun and a real pleasure to be around. It's good to be reminded of the fact that I should not take that for granted.

Err, dunno...
Except for the fact that I was at the Grand Opening of Social Jazz Club and it wasn't sooooo good - music was too loud, people were tooo... err... how to put it mildly? Let's say, all men were with cigars 30 cm long and all women falsely bright...

Hmm...I'd have to agree with you on the noise level. I think that the sound guy does not really know what he is doing.
We were there last night (Wednesday) and all the tables were taken but it was far from being crowded. And it was mostly university kids, I think, so they were nice.
Also, Beloslava was performing and she is so warm and charismatic. Our American friends LOVED her.
Thanks for the comment. I think I will avoid going there on Fridays and Saturdays when it gets more crowded.
My number 3 has to be having someone to tell me what I missed at the Social Jazz Club last night.:)

I know I know....about all that circus related to the Bush visit. I am arriving on 10 th of June and will have probably problems to access the center of Sofia
and i'll definitley have problems going out of the center because of not having a Sofia-located adress on my ID card.
So, it's gonna be pretty interesting living for three days only with your neighbours situated in a 4 streets area...
and last but not least..in this downtown area there's not going to be any mobile communications available. So no SMS, phone calls etc. just messages in a bottle. ;}
