I've given your email to my sister

Yesterday, I received an email which went something like this:

Just dropping you all a note to let you know that I have given your email to my sister. Her name is so-and-so and she is a publicist for so-and-so and organizes cool events for them. I thought you would want to know about that stuff. If you don't want to receive emails from her, just respond with NO to the first email you receive from her.

You've done fucking what?!?!?!?!?!

In a day and age when email-SPAM is often listed as one of the major stress-triggers, why would you do that to someone?! I avoid subscribing to mailing lists like the plague and learning that somebody else put my name on one is just so mind-boggling, I can't even talk about it.

I am seriously considering pulling a Chris Anderson on her.
